Privacy Policy

Last updated: 21 October 2026

This policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit this website, book a call or email me. I keep it short and specific: I only handle what is needed to reply to you and to run the site securely.

1. Who is responsible

The data controller is Aliaksandr “Alex” Kalashnikau, a sole proprietor (JDG) registered in Poland.

2. What data I collect

This website has no forms, user accounts or analytics. Data reaches me in three ways:

DataSource
Your name, email address and the content of your messageYou, when you email me
Your name, email address, chosen time and any notes you addYou, when you book a call on Cal.com
Technical data needed to deliver the page: IP address, requested page, browser identifier (processed by the hosting provider, see below)Your browser, when you visit the site

This site is hosted on Cloudflare (Workers). To deliver the page and protect it from abuse, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, the requested page and your browser identifier, in accordance with Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy. I do not have access to individual request logs and do not store them myself.

I do not collect data for advertising, I do not sell personal data, and I do not use automated decision-making or profiling.

3. Why I use it and on what legal basis

I do not rely on your consent for any of this processing. Giving your data is voluntary, but without a name and an email address I cannot reply to you.

4. Who receives your data

I do not share your data with anyone else, except where the law requires it.

5. Transfers outside the EU/EEA

Cloudflare, Google, Resend, Cal.com and the calendar or video-call tools may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, the transfer relies on the provider's safeguards, such as an adequacy decision (for example the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified) or standard contractual clauses. You can ask me for details of these safeguards. If you prefer to limit this, write to me by email instead of booking a call.

6. How long I keep it

Correspondence and bookings that do not lead to a project are kept for at least 12 months after the last contact. In my mailbox such messages carry the label “Leads”, and I clear that label once a year, so these messages are deleted no later than 24 months after the last contact. If we work together, data needed for contracts, invoices and tax purposes is kept for as long as Polish law requires. Where it is needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, I may keep the relevant data for as long as the claim period requires.

7. Cookies and tracking

This site uses no cookies and no tracking or analytics. The CRT on/off switch stores your choice in your browser’s local storage; this stays on your device and is never sent to me or anyone else. The Cal.com booking page is a separate service and may use its own cookies under its own policy.

8. Your rights

You can, at any time and free of charge:

To use any of these rights, write to hello@alexbuilder.com. I will reply within one month; for complex requests the law allows this to be extended by up to two further months, and I will tell you if that happens. I may ask you to confirm your identity before I act on a request, so that I do not disclose or delete someone else’s data, and I may ask for the email address you used to write to me or to book a call, so that I can find your data. Requests are free of charge; if a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, I may charge a reasonable fee or refuse it, as the law allows.

You also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. In Poland this is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, uodo.gov.pl); you may also contact the authority in your own EU country.

9. Security

The site is a static website served over HTTPS by Cloudflare (Workers). No system is perfectly secure, but I store as little personal data as possible to reduce the risk.

10. Changes

I may update this policy when the site or the way I process data changes. The date at the top shows the latest version.
